Terms of Service

1. Who we are

MaliMines ("MaliMines", "we", "us") runs an online platform at malimines.com where members learn mathematics in a free classroom and earn money by solving math tasks that are reviewed by our team. We operate from Kenya. You can reach us at support@malimines.com.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, buying a plan or using any part of MaliMines, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Earnings Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

3. Who can use MaliMines

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement under Kenyan law.
• You may hold only one account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred.
• The details you give us, including your name, email and M-Pesa number, must be true and your own.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account.

4. The classroom

The classroom, including lessons and practice quizzes, is free for every registered member. We may add, change or remove lessons at any time to keep the content accurate and useful.

5. Plans and payments

• Paid tasks require an active plan paid via M-Pesa. We currently offer Starter (KES 400), Growth (KES 549) and Premium (KES 850). Each plan sets the most you can earn from tasks in one day.
• Plan fees are paid through M-Pesa and each payment gives you 30 days of access. Your plan activates as soon as M-Pesa confirms the payment. Paying for the same plan again before it ends adds another 30 days. There is no automatic renewal: nothing is ever taken from your M-Pesa without you approving the payment on your phone.
• Prices shown on the pricing page at the time of payment are the prices that apply to you.
• A plan gives you access to paid tasks. It is not an investment, a deposit or a guarantee of income.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

6. Tasks, review and earnings

• Each task shows its reward before you start. Rewards depend on the difficulty of the problem.
• Every submission is checked by a member of our team. Only work that is approved is credited to your wallet. We may reject work that is wrong, incomplete, copied or produced with automated tools.
• Your approved earnings in a day cannot exceed the daily cap of your plan.
• We may change task types, rewards or the review process to keep the quality of work high.

7. Wallets and withdrawals

• Approved task earnings go to your task wallet. You can withdraw once it reaches KES 5,000.
• Referral earnings go to your referral wallet and can be withdrawn at any time, with no minimum.
• Withdrawals are paid only to the M-Pesa number registered in your name on your account.
• We may hold a withdrawal while we verify it if we see signs of fraud, duplicate accounts or a breach of these terms. We will tell you if this happens.
• Wallet balances are not bank deposits and do not earn interest.

8. Referrals

You earn a commission of 40% of the approved task earnings of people who join with your referral link. Commissions are paid by MaliMines and are not taken from your referral's earnings. Referring yourself, creating fake accounts or paying people to sign up is not allowed and will lead to the loss of referral earnings.

9. Suspension and closing your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy. If an account is closed for fraud or abuse, earnings obtained through that behaviour will not be paid. If we close your account for any other reason, we will pay out any withdrawable balance that you have legitimately earned.

10. Our content

The lessons, problems, designs, logo and software on MaliMines belong to us or our licensors. You may use them only to take part on the platform. You may not copy, resell or republish them without our written permission.

11. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep MaliMines running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or for delays caused by M-Pesa, mobile networks or other services outside our control. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act of Kenya.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on your dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use MaliMines after that means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@malimines.com and we will try to resolve it within 14 days. If we cannot agree, the dispute may be taken to the courts of Kenya.
